Terms of Service

Last updated: September 8, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of The Teachings of Light websites, digital content, communications, products, services, and subscriptions, including The Path Within.

The Teachings of Light is operated by TRANSC3ND3NC3 LLC (“The Teachings of Light,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing our website, purchasing or subscribing to a paid service, downloading our digital content, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the applicable service or complete a purchase.

1. Our Services

The Teachings of Light provides educational, spiritual, reflective, and personal-development content, including written teachings, downloadable materials, emails, books, resources, and subscription-based digital content.

Our services may include both free and paid offerings.

The Path Within is a recurring digital subscription through which active subscribers receive a new downloadable teaching every two weeks.

Specific features, prices, billing intervals, and other material terms applicable to a purchase or subscription are presented before checkout.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal age of majority where you live, to purchase or subscribe to our paid services.

By completing a purchase, you represent that you are legally able to enter into this agreement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. The Path Within Subscription

The Path Within is offered through monthly and annual subscription options.

By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to the payment method you provide at the price and billing interval displayed at checkout.

Your subscription begins when your initial payment is successfully processed.

Unless canceled, monthly subscriptions automatically renew each month and annual subscriptions automatically renew each year at the applicable subscription price.

For annual subscriptions, we will provide any advance renewal notice required by applicable law.

You are responsible for maintaining a valid email address and payment method so that we can deliver subscription content and process renewal payments.

4. Subscription Content and Delivery

Active subscribers to The Path Within are scheduled to receive a new downloadable teaching every two weeks.

Teachings are generally delivered electronically by email or through a digital access or download link.

You are responsible for providing an accurate email address and for checking spam, promotions, junk, or similar folders if an expected email does not appear in your primary inbox.

Temporary technical or email-delivery delays may occasionally occur. If you do not receive content you were entitled to receive during an active subscription period, please contact us at support@theteachingsoflight.com so we can assist you.

5. Automatic Renewal and Recurring Charges

Subscriptions continue automatically until canceled.

By purchasing a recurring subscription, you expressly authorize us and our payment processor to charge the payment method associated with your subscription at the applicable recurring interval.

The renewal price and billing interval will be disclosed when you subscribe. If we materially change the subscription price, we will provide advance notice as required by applicable law before the new price takes effect.

Applicable taxes may be added where required.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel The Path Within at any time through the secure Stripe Customer Portal.

When you cancel, your subscription remains active through the end of your current paid billing period unless otherwise required by law. You will remain eligible to receive teachings delivered during that period.

After the current billing period ends, the subscription will not renew and no additional recurring subscription charge will be made.

Canceling does not ordinarily create a refund or credit for any unused portion of the current monthly or annual billing period.

Additional information is available in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

7. Refunds

Because our subscription provides digital content throughout each paid subscription period, subscription payments are generally non-refundable once the applicable billing period has begun.

We do not ordinarily provide prorated refunds for unused portions of monthly or annual subscription periods.

Refunds or payment corrections may nevertheless be provided when required by law, in cases involving duplicate charges or billing errors, or when other circumstances reasonably warrant correction.

Our complete refund terms are provided in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

8. Failed Payments

Payments are processed through Stripe.

If a recurring payment fails, Stripe may attempt to process the payment again and may contact you regarding the failed payment or request that you update your payment information.

If payment cannot ultimately be collected, your subscription may be canceled and your eligibility to receive future paid subscription content will end.

You remain responsible for charges properly incurred before cancellation.

9. Payment Processing

Payment information is processed securely through Stripe.

We do not directly store your complete credit or debit card information.

Your use of Stripe’s payment and customer-management services may also be subject to Stripe’s applicable terms and privacy practices.

10. Transactional Emails

By purchasing or subscribing to one of our services, you agree to receive transactional communications reasonably necessary to provide that service.

These may include purchase confirmations, subscription notices, payment or renewal notifications, digital-content delivery emails, billing notices, cancellation confirmations, and other service-related communications.

Transactional communications are separate from optional marketing communications.

Where required, promotional or marketing emails are sent subject to applicable consent requirements, and you may unsubscribe from those communications using the options provided in the email.

11. Personal-Use License

Unless otherwise expressly stated, all downloadable teachings and other paid or free digital materials are provided to you under a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-commercial license.

You may download, save, print, and use materials for your own personal purposes.

You may not, without our prior written permission:

  • reproduce or distribute substantial portions of our materials to others;
  • share paid downloads, private access links, or subscriber-only content;
  • sell, sublicense, republish, or commercially exploit our materials;
  • publicly post paid subscriber content;
  • remove copyright, authorship, trademark, or proprietary notices; or
  • represent our work as your own.

Cancellation of a subscription does not require you to delete teachings that were lawfully delivered to you while your subscription was active. Your personal-use license to those materials continues, subject to these Terms.

12. Intellectual Property

The Teachings of Light name, branding, written teachings, downloadable materials, graphics, original website content, publications, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to TRANSC3ND3NC3 LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of our intellectual property to you.

Any rights not expressly granted are reserved.

13. Educational and Spiritual Nature of the Content

Our content is provided for educational, spiritual, reflective, informational, and personal-development purposes.

It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or mental-health condition and is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, financial, or other licensed professional advice.

You are responsible for deciding how, whether, and to what extent you apply any idea, teaching, practice, or perspective presented through our services.

If you need professional assistance, you should consult an appropriately qualified professional.

14. No Guarantee of Results

Personal development and spiritual exploration are individual experiences.

We do not guarantee any particular emotional, spiritual, personal, relational, financial, health, or other outcome from reading, practicing, purchasing, or subscribing to our content.

Testimonials, examples, descriptions, or personal experiences shared through our services do not constitute guarantees that another person will experience the same result.

15. Responsible Use

You agree not to use our websites, services, or materials in a way that:

  • violates applicable law;
  • infringes another person’s rights;
  • interferes with the security or operation of our services;
  • attempts to obtain unauthorized access to subscriber-only content;
  • distributes malicious software or harmful code;
  • engages in fraud or payment abuse; or
  • violates the intellectual-property provisions of these Terms.

We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address fraud, misuse, infringement, security concerns, repeated payment failure, or material violations of these Terms.

16. Third-Party Services

We use third-party providers to operate portions of our services, including payment processing, email delivery, website hosting, and other technical functions.

These providers may include Stripe, MailerLite, and other service providers.

We are not responsible for independent third-party websites, platforms, products, or services that we do not control.

Links to third-party resources are provided for convenience and do not necessarily constitute endorsement.

17. Availability and Changes to Services

We work to keep our websites, communications, and digital services available and functioning properly, but uninterrupted or error-free availability cannot be guaranteed.

Maintenance, technical problems, email-delivery issues, third-party outages, or circumstances outside our reasonable control may occasionally interrupt access or delivery.

We may make reasonable changes to our websites, services, formats, features, or content over time.

If we make a material change to a paid subscription that significantly affects what subscribers have agreed to purchase, we will provide reasonable notice and comply with applicable law.

If The Path Within is permanently discontinued, we will provide appropriate notice and address any prepaid subscription period as required by applicable law and the circumstances.

18. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our websites, services, and content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We make no warranty that our services will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every individual purpose.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty, guarantee, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

19. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Teachings of Light and TRANSC3ND3NC3 LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of our websites, services, or content.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from a claim relating to a paid service will not exceed the amount you paid to us for that service during the twelve months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

These limitations do not apply where applicable law does not permit them.

20. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us.

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, shared, and protected when you interact with our websites, communications, purchases, and services.

By using our services, you acknowledge that personal information may be processed as described in that policy.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, business practices, technologies, or legal requirements.

The updated Terms will display a revised “Last updated” date.

Material changes affecting an existing paid subscription will be communicated when required by law or when reasonably appropriate.

Changes will not retroactively alter payment obligations or rights that have already accrued unless permitted by law.

22. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer-protection law provides otherwise.

Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled by a court of competent jurisdiction, subject to any rights or remedies that applicable law gives you.

23. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force to the extent permitted by law.

24. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy, and any specific terms presented during checkout, constitute the agreement governing your use of the applicable services.

If specific terms displayed at checkout conflict with a general provision of these Terms, the more specific checkout term will control with respect to that purchase.
